Why it's time to put yourself higher on your "to-do" list

Dr. Richard Swenson famously described margin as, "the space between our loads and our limits." In margin, you find time to do what feeds your soul, take care of yourself, and breathe from the stress and demands of life.

Do you have margin in your life?

When you fail to create margin, you become overwhelmed and stressed out. And stress has some severe consequences on your health and functioning.

Studies have found that chronic stress can be just as damaging to your body as second-hand smoke! So not only does being stressed out all the time make you feel crummy, it's literally killing you!

If you're still making excuses as to why you don't "want," "need," or "deserve" a healthy work-life balance and margin, I'm here to tell you that you're wrong.

You NEED to find time to re-energize yourself by doing things that you enjoy.

If you're supporting a family, take a moment to recognize that they want to spend time with you, uninterrupted from work-related stress.

If you absolutely love your job and want to stay healthy enough to maintain your work and continue working, you need to incorporate downtime into your schedule not to get burnt out.

All in all, it's time to put yourself higher on your "to-do" list.

I want to make sure you have one last chance to register for my webinar to achieve this.

Create an hour of margin to join me next week's webinar where we'll talk about the art of balancing work and life.
