Your legacy is the most significant thing you leave behind.
Every day, as you live your life and influence others, you are constantly constructing your legacy. From the casual conversation around the water cooler at work to critical family meetings around the kitchen table -- you are instilling pieces of yourself in those around you.
But what is a legacy?
Do you know your "why" well enough to give an elevator pitch for it?
Let me start by saying that I love the concept of an "elevator pitch."
Wikipedia defines "elevator pitch" as "a short description of an idea, product or company that explains the concept in a way such that any listener can understand it in a short period of time."
Did you know that the average American works 44 hours per week, or 8.8 hours per day, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics? That's 2,288 hours per year! It's safe to say that work takes up much of our lives.
With so much of your life spent at work, I hope you enjoy what you do, and are valued by those you work with.
