Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you didn’t know what to do next?
Maybe you were presented with an opportunity – but didn’t know if it was right for you.
Maybe you lost something valuable and didn’t know how (or if it were possible) to get it back.
Perhaps you feel stuck in a neverending cycle of frustration or defeat.
The feelings of confusion or frustration generated by these situations can be paralyzing – and they can get you stuck.
And stuck stinks.
However, getting stuck is not the end of the story.
You can get moving again and back on track toward your dreams, goals, and ambitions.
I believe this because when you find your why, you find your way.
Said another way, when you know who you are, you know what to do.
So how do you find your why?
How do you get a picture of yourself and what you’re called to do?
We teach one way to do this in our newest course, “The Next Level Leader.”
In one particular module, we walk you through seven defining statements to uncover and understand what makes you, you.
These seven statements help shed light on what makes you unique – and point you toward your purpose.
I want to challenge you (especially if you feel unsure of what to do next) to work through these seven statements and do a little self-discovery.
Grab a pen and some paper – and start writing:
A unique challenge from my childhood that shaped my life is...
Three words that best define my personality are...
My greatest talents and strengths are...
I am the happiest and at my best when...
The activities in my work life, that have the greatest worth are...
The activities in my personal life that have the greatest worth are...
When all is said and done, I want to be a person who...
These questions are designed to challenge, enlighten, and point you toward your purpose.
Helping “inspire and equip GREAT people to live a legacy so they can leave a legacy and show the way to the next generation” is my why – and I hope these statements will help you find yours.
No one wants to feel stuck or stay stuck. But, you CAN get moving again. And your best days may still be ahead of you.
I believe it.
For your growth,
